For sun-seekers, the Gulf of Mexico and its glorious white sand beaches (top left) lie adjacent to the Beach Cottage, and immediately to the west.

Not to be outdone by the length and breadth of the beautiful beaches so close at hand, the Beach Cottage's sun deck surrounding the pool (middle left) is an example of "super-sizing" at its very best.

Additionally, the Beach Trolley uses Gulf Boulevard (bottom left) on regularly scheduled runs between historic Pass-a-Grille and Sand Key just south of Clearwater Beach and into downtown St. Petersburg, providing a cost-effective means of exploring the many varied communities in our area.

That same photo (bottom left) also shows the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, a protected route for sail and power boats cruising north and south between Tarpon Springs and Ft. Myers. The "Intracoastal" or "ICW" as it is known locally, separates the string of barrier islands to the west and the mainland to the east.
